All You Need Is Love
These are pics with a love theme done for a beginner photography class...Enjoy and get some inspiration!
This pic we set up the camera on the car parked across the road, but had to run to get into the frame

We finally got it right, but this pic is 2 pictures photoshoped together, but can be done with a third person to hold the heart hands up. SO cute! I love how it turned out.

This pic was done by standing so the sun is directly behind me, then getting right below me on the ground and tilting the camera up toward my face. Makes a really cool heaven looking effect!

This pic was fun. I chose to pit the ring in the Book of Mormon's dictionary page for marriage. So the text is all about marriage. I put a tiny bit of hot glue on the bottom of the ring, and let it dry for a few seconds so that it would be sticky enough to stay up in the book, but won't stick and ruin the pages. Then you just light it directly from behind. Sunlight is always the best light, but i took mine at light in my house with a dim lamp, then touched up the lighting on photoshop. Using a lamp gives you a lot more control on the shape of the heart.
The view of Cedar City Utah, using a 'bokeh' which is a Japanese word for blur. It's really simple. Trace your camera lens with a pencil onto a piece of dark card-stock.Then cut out whatever shape you want to try, i did a heart, in the center of the circle. Cut the circle out and then tape (I used duct tape) around it another piece that is about 2 inches wide and as long as the paper, to make sort of a lens cap. Then turn the aperture on your camera as low as it goes and then un-focus the image. then place the lens cap you made over it and the circles of light will be the shape you cut out! super cool.

This one is from Christmas lights in someones yard wrapped around trees!
